Explorations of Space is a series of animations that focus on movement in space and sound. The artwork invites viewers to explore pattern recognition in colorful transformations and dramatic environments. The piece uses abstraction to contemplate a state of mindfulness and defamiliarization.
The project uses machine learning and Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology Disco Diffusion as an artistic and aesthetic medium. The use of AI makes the artwork part of a new chapter of AI art history. The project invites a discussion on how AI impacts art and artists.
ARTIST STATEMENT:
Jaime Klingsberg is a sonic and visual digital artist. His work explores aesthetics in the use of rapidly evolving technology and AI. He releases music under the name “Sudoverse” that explores themes of the romantic sublime coupled with a futuristic, alienating, and often dystopian cyberpunk universe.
