Countless kalpa ago, at the beginning of everything, the dwarven gods created the entirety of time and space within a kosmic forge which contained all things, including itself. Two houses down the street, the elven gods were dreaming creation into existence, giving birth to the nonconsensual hallucination that is reality in a single moment of perfect, transcendent understanding. At that exact same instant, the scarab-headed gods of the khepra were rolling up the stars into the great dung ball that would be eventually become known as the universe—and five feet to the right, reality formed itself from natural kosmic processes, with no deities in sight.  Read more about Vrata Nul.
